Kaluga - new family member
Our new horse, 
Kaluga, arrived to the riding centre on Friday night, from our neighbor and friend Julian Ross from former Stefan cel Mare Equestrian Centre in Lunca Ilvei. We decided to take Kaluga, after Julian's announcement that he was going to leave the country for good.
We were very excited to see her here and even my son, Claudiu, who is only 3, wanted to join me in welcoming Kaluga in her new home last night! He stood there all the way through the first inspection, being very observant…
By the first look it seems that Kaluga has some serious dental problems, which eventually caused her weight loss!
To make sure that we are right, we have asked for a team of veterinarians (including our local vet), to come and see her next week, take some blood samples and send them to the Institute Pasteur in Bucharest for a thorough analysis. We have done this procedure before, when we had to make all the analysis in order to send our first horse Stella to the USA, so fortunately we knew exactly what to do from the start.
We hope Kaluga doesn’t have a bigger health issue than what Marius predicted, which is the incapacity of feeding due to a dental problem or an uneven growth of her teeth. This problem appears often with older horses and filing her teeth is our no. 1 priority right now!

Bun venit Kaluga! Stiu ca este greu sa te desparti de locurile stiute, de prietenii cu
care ai strabatut carari de munte si pe care nu o sa-i mai vezi niciodata! Ai fost speriata
cand te-ai trezit urcata intr-o remorca, nestiind ce se va intampla cu tine?
Dar nu-ti fie teama, potecile sunt si aici la fel de frumoase, prieteni o sa ai din nou,
iar locul iti va oferi linistea de care ai nevoie! Abia astept sa ne vedem!

do I understand this correctly, Julian Ross has left Romania? I've been one of his working holiday guests, a couple of years ago, a Romanian (o sasoica) myself...
What happened to the riding center in Lunca Ilvei?
