Steluţa and Mîndruţa
SteluÅ£a and MîndruÅ£a, our long awaited milk cows, have finally arrived in their stable near the chalet.
They have been bought with help from our horseman, Marius Fărcaş, from his native village, Toaca, on the Gurghiu Valley.
Now we'll have our own 100% natural milk, as well as prepared by us using traditional recipes.
We have also bought a modern milking device, for improved hygiene and efficiency.
We expect two calfs by april or may and we really do hope that we can manage them as successfully as we did with our foals.
